Dave – It’s your birthday! Happy Birthday. I am so thankful to God Almighty for this opportunity to celebrate with you! Michelle and I got in the back room, much quieter and darker. I slept until 7:15 when they began making the first round of Dr. calls. I awoke in a good mood – probably because it’s your birthday. I also got your presents when I went home last night. So, the Dr. Report was good. Still keeping an eye on the vassal spasms and you will in in ICU through Monday. Michelle left and Stphanie showed up about 10:00 She had been trying to get ahold of me and said that sll she could get was a busy signal. Wheile she was there, she heard my message from Wednesday encouraging her to come over one morning. She went up for the visit and heard what the nurse said about your spasms. I had been calling them brain spasms, but they are in fact vassal spasms. You seemed very tired this morning and in pain, as usual. Ginger Woods brought me lunch. She brought me catfish from Surin of Thailand. We had a good visit. Then it was time to see you again. I was determined to visit by myself for awhile because visits wear you out. You slept a lot of the visit, which was fine because your body has gone through so much. I so wish that I could take the pain away. After the 1:30 visit, I took a nap in the waiting room. Apparently Shelia and Aubrey came by. Thankfully, they didn’t wake me up. The 4:30 visit was more of the same. You were so tired that you slept through most of it. Sleeping is the way that God designed our body to heal. I want you to sleep as much as you can. It pleases me just to watch you sleep. I am just so thankful that you are alive! Andrea and Carol came about 6 to keep me company. Ron came by to sign your book. He went to get me a milkshake from McDonald’s. He had hoped to see you and wish you a happy birthday. Ashley also showed up. She brought card making material with her. I had promised not to let anyone in to visit, but how could I refuse Ashley with a homemade card in hand. Carol and Andrea took me to the cafeteria for supper. Ashley worked on her card while we ate. I didn’t know that they had soup and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they did. We went up for the 8:30 visit. Michelle was there waiting. We all three went in. Ashley presented you with the card and Michelle and I sang to you. Then they both left and we had some quiet time. I love you so much and look forward to our visits. I was about shot, so Michelle and Rebecca stayed at the hospital and Michaela and I went to the house. I was in bed by 10:00. I missed having you laying there beside me, but was so thankful to have you alive!
