Budgeting: It's a lifestyle
I keep our home receipts for a year before I throw them away. I am in the middle of the December receipts from last year. From last December until this December, Dave and I have made great strides in how we handle our money; specifically in the choices of how we spend. It came as a surprise to me that I don’t like to sacrifice. Some days, I would like to go eat out or not wait to buy something. But there are many lessons to be learned from the sacrifice that comes to living within a budget. Dave always says that a budget is ever evolving, and that makes us still to not have perfected the art, but I feel like we are well on our way.
